You are invited to spend time in spiritual retreat – in remembrance, prayer and writing our Sufi teachings. We will start each day at 9:30 AM with dhiker (remembrance of Allah) and check-in. There are no fees to attend this deeply spiritual event.
The format will follow that of our previous recent weekends. It will be a silent time and you are encouraged to bring the book you are currently working with. We should have available for purchase (and probably a couple of loaners) copies of Sidi al Jamal’s books, “Music of the Soul” and “He Who Knows Himself Knows His Lord”. As it is in the month of Ramadan we will be fasting during the retreat.
Our previous community weekends have been very successful and participants have given heart warming reports about what they felt they had received from their time at the zawiyah. So, make plans now to come and experience the richness of being in rich spiritual community at this zawiyah.
